Activities

The Lake George area is filled with activities for the active vacationer, and for the more passive vacation.  During the fall season items like hiking in the Adirondacks, sailing and boating on Lake George, and para-sailing are available. 

There are many hikes amongst the High Peaks that are at their very best during this time of the year, with many day and overnight hikes available.  People can go to places such as The Great Escape Theme Park, Adirondack Extreme (high ropes courses), and numerous other physical activities.

Lake George features many fine restaurants and several local breweries are also in the area for sampling their beers.  Just 4 miles south of Lake George is one of the largest discount factory outlets areas, featuring all the big names in clothing and other goods.
