There are no other rides in the northeast that will inspire you as much as a ride through the Adirondacks. The Peak Season Century around historic Lake George, during the height of fall foliage, is a 100 miler you won’t soon forget. For those seeking a different challenge, there is also a 60 option as well.

"Participants will enjoy the Queen of American Lakes and one of the most beautiful destinations on the planet," said Maureen O’Brien-Thornton, Executive Director of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Upstate New York/Vermont Chapter. "At the same time, participants can know that their work will help individuals and their families deal with tremendously difficult physical and mental challenges.”

***Details for the ride:  Sign in for all riders will open at 6 am, Saturday morning at Million Dollar Beach parking lot (where the big tents are set up).  All riders are required to sign in and re-sign the medical waivers in person.  Parking is available near to the site and in the parking lot (state lot may charge a fee for parking but not sure yet).  The ride will push off promptly at 7 am for the riders doing the century ride.  Riders doing the metric century are required to sign in by 8:45 am and will be taken on a bus to the start of the 60 mile ride.  That will be at Fort Ticonderoga, which is also the lunch break spot for all riders.  Those riders will then follow the same route back to the finish as the 100 milers.  Upon completion of the ride, each rider upon signing back in, will get a goodie bag.  There will be food (burritos from Chipotle), drink (beer from local brewery Adirondack Brewery), and live music.  The beach house at Million Dollar Beach will be open for showers and there are lockers in there for your use as well.  We are looking forward to a great day!!
